Brazil's top carpooling and ridesharing Android apps have shown varying trends in the first quarter of 2024. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a look into the downloads and weekly active users for these services.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download range between 190K and 217K, with weekly active users fluctuating, reaching a peak of 11.5M in early March before descending slightly to 10.9M by the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides experienced a slight decrease in downloads, starting at 106K and dipping to around 76K in mid-March, before a modest recovery to 81K. Its weekly active users saw an overall increase, from 3.2M to 3.3M, with a notable spike to 3.3M in early March.

The Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver app saw downloads decline from 118K to 69K, while its weekly active users showed resilience, hovering around 1.4M to 1.5M throughout the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus downloads varied, with an initial 93K that decreased to around 54K, then slightly increased to 57K by quarter's end. Weekly active users initially decreased from 1.6M to 1.3M but saw a strong rebound, ending the quarter at 1.6M.

Lastly, Uber Lite showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 31K and dropping to 17K, with a slight uptick to 17K in the final week. Weekly active users were relatively stable, with numbers staying within the range of 310K to 340K.
